Chapter 1 - Brazil
I'm originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and am the grandson of Italian and Portuguese immigrants. I began my career in 1998 as a Graphic Designer at a marketing agency, where I had the privilege of working with major industry names like Audi, Volkswagen, and Pfizer, using tools such as Corel Draw, Pagemaker, and 3D Studio Max to create folders, logos, and technical guides. Five years later, I joined LCF Soluções (2003-2005) as a Graphic Designer and Front-end Developer, where I learned Flash and Adobe Dreamweaver and created websites for Aventis, Pfizer, and Butterfly Editora, marking the start of my career as a Web Designer.
In 2005, I moved to JHMA Studios (2005-2010), working on diverse projects for prominent clients such as HunterDouglas, Luxaflex, Vivara, Banco Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Banco Pine, Renault, Natura, Somfy, and Discovery Channel. During this time, I used Flash, After Effects, and 3D Studio Max to create websites, videos, and 3D models, gaining extensive experience over six years.
In 2011, I took on the role of Senior Web Designer at Bradesco Seguros (2011-2017), where I developed the company's website and mobile application. I joined Cielo (2017-2018) in 2017, but had to leave early in 2018 when I immigrated to Canada to embark on a new chapter in my life.
Chapter 2 - Canada
I moved to Canada in 2018 seeking a safer environment for my spouse, two cats, and myself. During the first year, I focused on learning English. By July 2019, I secured my first Canadian role as a contractor at Tribal Scale (2019). Later that year, I took on a full-time position at Vyana (2019-2020), where I worked on notable projects like FleetMap for GFL. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, Vyana shut down, leading me to explore new opportunities. I then worked as a consultant on significant projects for companies including Quantum Mob/People Trust (2021-2021), Capco/Bank of Montreal (2021-2022), FIS (2022-2023), and currently Electric Mind (2023-Present) on the 407 ETR project.
